Greetings to our fantastic fintech community!
The Kunai team has been grinding. This is going to be a big year.
Why, you ask? Lots of reasons. But for one thing, we are gonna automate our butts off this year. The Kunai team is committed to releasing several real-world AI automations in 2025, for use by both our clients and ourselves. Our developers are building solutions faster than I can talk about them (and much, much faster than I can understand any of the tech behind them).
To kick the year off, here's our Head of AI & Automation, Sumant Shringari, and I talking about what he and his team built for product management.
Automating User Story Generation
This is a simple automation that can save your team two days to a week. It's the first of many that we will be launching on our Pontus platform in the coming weeks and months.
Press a button and turn product epics into user stories that actually match your company's way of working. While other AI tools can do basic story generation, they can't adapt to your organization's unique patterns. This solution learns iteratively from your team's stories while keeping every decision transparent and traceable - essential for compliance, audits, and continuous improvement.
This is the year we stop talking about how much AI is gonna change things and actually use it to fundamentally change the way we work every day. Get in touch if you want to test this out for yourself. And stay tuned on my LinkedIn and here on Substack to learn about the new automations that we'll be releasing each month.
FinTech Fireside: Dallas
The Kunai team was out in Dallas a few weeks ago, where I had the pleasure of interviewing Adam Ross, an early investor in Facebook, SpaceX, and Palantir. We spoke about Adam's time on the board at Palantir, about how Trump's presidency will affect the venture & business environment for the next four years, and about the rising importance of GovTech.
Thank you to all the friends from Citi, Mastercard, and Capital One that made it to the dinner; we appreciate all of you braving the cold in Dallas to spend some time hanging with us.
Next Stop: New York
Our team is headed to New York the week of February 17th. We're organizing another dinner with a fantastic speaker, and we'd also love to come visit for a meal or a coffee. Get in touch if you're in town and down. Excited to see you soon.
La Posada in Mexico City
Right before the end of the year, we held a Posada to celebrate the holidays with our team of over 300 engineers, product managers, and designers in Mexico City. Our team in Mexico City is growing quickly, and we are excited to continue proving our nearshoring thesis to our clients.
Feliz Navidad to our team, partners, and clients in Mexico!
Appreciate all of you,
Sandeep
